List of Motels on the North End Of Santa Rosa
The following motels are one or two freeway exits south of the Highway 101 exit for our farm (approximately 10 -15 minute drive). Check for business rates or AAA rates for a price break. There is a higher-priced Hilton and Fountaingrove Inn in this area - you may be able to get discounted rooms from Priceline.com or other services. Some offer breakfast with the room.
Comfort Inn 2632 Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa Phone (707) 542-5544 A newly rennovated motel. A good restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is right next to the motel. It is called Sam’s For Play Restaurant.
Directions: From Highway 101 Northbound, Steele Lane Exit go left onto Steele
at the second light turn right on Cleveland Avenue, Motel is on the right.
From 101 southbound take Steele Lane off-ramp go right onto Steele at first light
turn right onto Cleveland, motel is down on the right behind Sam’s For Play Restaurant.
Holiday Inn Express - 870 Hopper Avenue, Santa Rosa
Phone 800-533-1255 www.winecountryhotel.com Small rooms, nice and clean. Each room has some type of patio
or balcony with a sliding door out to it. Continental breakfasts, mini-refrigerators available,
outdoor pool, cable TV and HBO. This place was more corporate and was busy.
Directions: Hwy. 101 NORTH to Mendocino Ave., exit,
RIGHT to traffic signal, RIGHT onto overpass over Hwy. 101 to traffic signal, then RIGHT
on Cleveland Avenue for 1/4 mile. Holiday Inn Express is on the LEFT.
Sandman Motel - 3421 Cleveland Avenue, Santa Rosa PH 707/544-8570
Continental breakfasts,mini-refrigerators, pool, Jacuzzi, cable, etc. This place was very busy.
Rooms were clean, a little more old fashioned (furniture wise, nice big baths).
Directions: Hwy. 101 NORTH to Mendocino Ave., exit, RIGHT to
traffic signal, RIGHT onto overpass over Hwy. 101 to traffic signal,
then LEFT on Cleveland Avenue. Sandman is on the RIGHT hand side, just
past Carrows Restaurant.
Ramada Limited, 866 Hopper Avenue, Santa Rosa 800-266-4600
The rooms seemed okay. Pool, continental breakfast, cable, HBO, refrigerators and
microwaves available, etc.
Directions: Hwy. 101 NORTH to Mendocino Ave., exit, RIGHT to traffic
signal, RIGHT onto overpass over Hwy. 101 to traffic signal, then RIGHT
on Cleveland Avenue. Ramada is on the LEFT.
Motel 6, Santa Rosa, North 2760 Cleveland Avenue, Ph (707) 546-1500 or 1-800-466-8356
Rooms are small but clean. Showers only. Smoking and nonsmoking available. Back part of
the motel is located up against highway 101 so you might ask for a room close to the office.
Directions: From Highway 101 Northbound, Steele Lane Exit go left onto Steele
at the second light turn right on Cleveland Avenue, Motel is on the right.
From 101 southbound take Steele Lane off-ramp go right onto Steele at first light
turn right onto Cleveland, motel is three blocks down on the right.
Second Motel 6 - There is a second Motel 6 that’s on the other side of Cleveland Avenue and a block or so down from the location listed above. It is farther away from Hwy 101.
Mountain Home Ranch is a beautiful rural option which is a 30 minute drive due East of the farm. They offer various levels of lodging from cabins that are quite rustic to a room in their main lodge. They also offer breakfast most of the time.
